The Power Of Opportunity

Write this down and put it somewhere where you will see it everyday -
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF OPPORTUNITY.
So what is opportunity? Opportunity is a favorable circumstance that makes it possible to do something.
It's all about:
  • Timing
  • Advantage
  • Change
  • Recognition
  • Possibility
Learning to recognize an opportunity is a skill like any other. We are all looking for something, searching for more in our life, wishing and hoping for a better outcome, yet for so many of us, it can pass us by because we simply fail to see what is sometimes right in front of us.
So what are you looking for when it comes to wanting an opportunity to come your way?
  1. More money
  2. More time
That basically covers it! No matter what it is you are searching for, they will generally fall under one of these 2 categories.
Mastering the skill of recognizing opportunity is the real key to achieving success. And the one thing that will give you the skills you need is self-improvement. Becoming a better person opens our mind to a much bigger world than the one we often see. It makes us more aware of our surroundings and increases our ability to make decisions. And it allows us to recognise opportunity!
Self improvement (also known as personal development or growth) is the answer to unlocking your potential and creating a future you will look forward to.
The power of opportunity is there for all of us. And when you have the creativity and ability to see it, the knowledge that allows you to take it, the strength to work with it, and the determination to see it through to the end, then abundant prosperity will be yours. You will be unstoppable!
Does this sound like a life worth having? You bet. We can all have it, if we just open our mind to see it.
Personal development is vital and it is a shame that it is not focused on more during school years. If students were taught more about self-improvement at school, they would be much more aware and better prepared to not only see opportunity but understand it.
We should never stop learning. Because when we do, we stop growing, and that leads to a long, monotonous life that going nowhere.
There are plenty of ways to study personal development. There are multitudes of books available, DVD's and audio, as well as courses and training weekends.
Abundance and prosperity can be yours. Remember - never underestimate the Power of Opportunity.
In the world today there are 2 types of people:
Those who take action and those who let opportunity pass them by. Which one do you want to be?

How to Get Everything That You Desire

Have you ever been the victim of loss (death, job loss, divorce, etc.)? Have you ever been so low that you didn't think that there was a way to have better? In the midst of feeling such, you've wondered, "How do I get everything that I want out of life?" I know it hurts to see those around you (friends, family and neighbours) accomplish their dreams and get what they want and yet, you feel left out as if God forgot about you.
Well, I'm here to encourage you that you deserve the best! It is possible for you to have everything great that you've ever wanted no matter what it is. It is possible for you to love again, dream again, have more, do more, attain more, start your business, raise great children and improve your relationships! Sounds far-fetched, huh? But it's not actually. Below, you will receive three steps to help you breakthrough to the things that you've always desired. Be advised that you must take immediate action.
The difference between those who get what they've desired and those who don't is that those who get it, take massive action. They caught the revelation that "faith without works is dead" and instead of just complaining, they made power moves until they saw manifestation. That's the only difference. So here goes...
Believe! I know that you're thinking, "That's it?!" Sounds trivial, but yes, that's it. Belief is the first step in achieving anything that you want for your life. You see, it's not just enough to want it. You have to believe that you deserve and can have it. There are so many people that spend their lives wanting, but never really think that they deserve it much less think that they can have it. Majority, if not all of your successors will tell you that they believed that they could get what they now have. How do you believe? Easy. Know in your heart that you deserve what you want and that it's just waiting for you to come and get it! So go get it!
Make a decision. Decide what you want for your life. Decide that you want more for your life; your family; your carer; your business and go after it. Be specific. Don't pull things from anywhere or just because you see someone else with it. If you want something just because someone else has it, that means that your intentions aren't genuine and you can't get something that really wasn't created for you, in which, you may not even enjoy it. So make sure that it's something that you want.
Surround yourself with winners. It's so much easier to stay focused when those around you are focused on success because just seeing them determined will only encourage you to do the same when times get tough. Connect with individuals who have done what you desire to do. You can attain this through mentorship, coaches, consultants, etc. How do you connect with these types of people? Network, seminars, workshops, etc. They're always looking to share with hungry individuals. Just connect with the right one.
GO FOR IT! NOW IS YOUR TIME!

Getting Unstuck to Achieve a Better, Richer, More Purposeful YOU!

If you could turn a key and achieve the thing(s) that you really need and want that would finally catapult everything in your life, would you turn the key?
Would you?
If you knew, without a doubt, that whatever you set out to do you could do - and you could get the results you've been looking for without fail, would you go for it? Whether in Business, Career, Money, Purpose...
Finally go for it?
Most people are at their wits end trying to understand what it really takes to figure out what they want and how to get it. Some would say all it takes is the wanting of the thing, or the visualizing of the thing. Others tell us we can will the thing into existence. With all this passive information being thrown at them, no wonder it just seems too hard to begin.
So, people continue to fail. This failure freezes their intent, and they don't know what to do. Eventually, they not only stop trying, they stop thinking about trying! Some may be on a path that just doesn't feel right. They may be taking the wrong steps and are doing things they don't like to do, and they end up feeling frustrated and are still deprived of the thing they started out to achieve. Perhaps they've latched on to the newest craze that promises wealth, health, and happiness with little to no effort. HA!
Guess what "no action" gets you? It's called no-thing.
The key is action. But, what action? First you must figure out your intent, your purpose, your meaning. Go now and do it and start with these steps:
Figure it Out
Figure out what you really want, really want, for your personal and professional lives. You do this by dreaming - by using your wonderful imagination. Before you say whoa - that's just pie in the sky... Albert Einstein did it. So did the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, Napoleon Hill, and me, the author - Jane Miller. You see, you must NOT give one iota of a second to figuring out HOW you will achieve, only that you REALLY want the thing.
Get Clear
Write. Yes, write. With pen on paper. Writing causes thinking and thinking causes ideas. That's what you want. Make a list of thirty personal and thirty professional wants. Just write them down. Again, no worrying how it will get done!
Pick just one from each list to begin working on NOW. Don't worry about the ones that you didn't pick - amazing thing is that once you begin to work on the one, the others seem to incredibly get done, too.
Put it in your mind and in your heart
Write out a sentence about your goal on a card that speaks to you already having it - I am so happy and grateful Now That ___________________________________
_________________________________________________________________.
Carry this with you and read it often.
Now, write for 15 minutes about the thing as if you have already achieved it - what does it look like? How does it feel? Who have you become in the process of achieving it? Every day and every night, re-write the goal and the picture in your mind of you already in possession of the goal. Think about it in the morning, in the evening and throughout the day.
Each night before you retire, write down 6 actions that you can take the next day to move you toward the goal. Next day, start with the #1 thing and do not move on until that one thing is completed. That night, write a NEW list of 6 things. Continue on, and you will be closer and closer to the thing you desire.
Stay Focused
If you will continue this for thirty (30) days, you will be amazed at what you have achieved. Not only will the main thing be in your possession, but the others will fall into place as well.
So you are thinking this is a lot of work? Yes! You must give your life to this thing you want - but wait! You're already giving your life for what you have now, so why not trade up?
I am so happy and grateful that you have read through this far, and I am looking forward to your continued success.

The Power of Manifesting? I Have a 2Ft Fish That Watches Me in the Shower

His name is Big Lips and his small little white shimmering girlfriend is called Angel Ayu. These are 5 of the fish that live in a 10m long aquarium in the palace where I now live. This place is more amazing than I could have imagined - but I did! I actually had a part to play in the creation of this home. Although I may not have specifically imagined that a pink lipped, goggle eyed fish would watch me through the aquarium into my shower - I have always loved the idea of an aquarium in my bathroom since watching Romeo and Juliet!
What I did though was decide that it was time to manifest my life, rather than just sitting there wishing things where different! What has happened for my life to actually start manifesting? Action towards ME, acknowledgment to my intuition and trust to follow it! A café I was sitting at "working" yesterday (which again was a moment in time that I had manifested) was called Atman Café. And in the front of the menu it said that the meaning of Atman was "The little voice or knowing within your heart that guides you, and if you follow it's wisdom, it will guide you far better than your mind ever will!'
It all began the moment I decided to take huge actions to follow my path, to follow my dreams no matter if I had NO idea how I was going to get there. The moment I quit my job, chose to become homeless and drift where my intuition took me - AMAZING synchronicity happened! I have been wanting to share these true stories with you for so long and NOW is the time.
The actual day that I took that first step towards me was on Monday the 3rd of September, prior to that I had been tying up the loose ends of my pretend life. On this day I got on a plane to fly to Sydney to then drive a friends BMW Z4 to Tasmania. I took a photo of my little backpack - really not knowing what was going to happen. I had ideas that I wanted to get to Bali, but didn't really know how it was going to be possible! With only a couple of hundred dollars in my pocket and not even a plane ticket booked I had still packed for Bali.. because I knew that is where I wanted to be. It was on this day that the synchronicity started to happen. The universe started to open up giving me encouragement saying - 'yes' you on the right path... Keep going.
The first one happened in Sydney when I landed! I knew with little money in my pocket and not knowing when the next income would be I would have to be aware and make sensible decisions when paying for things. So, I said to the universe - my goal and challenge is to get to the BMW with little or no cost. I walked down the escalator to the train station and looked around for where to buy a ticket. A lady came straight to me from what seemed like no where. She said "excuse me, I have a ticket I have paid for and it has 3 days left on it - we are leaving Australia today so would you like it". OMG! Umm... yes please - THANK YOU! And thank you universe - wow, you really are listening! I got to the BMW with NO cost!
The next day, I thought OK smarty pants universe - here is a new challenge! I'm going to be even more specific! My iPhone5 cable had been playing up and really wasn't working so I said to the universe. I would like an iPhone5 cable to come to me for little or no cost. A new lesson was about to happen. In my "yee of little faith" way, I decided to go to the shops and find the cheapest one, saying to myself I am not paying more than $10. The ones that were normally 4.95 were not there, so I still kept to my mission of finding this cord (rather than allowing the universe to answer), went to the next shop and bought one for $9.95. I was happy, but felt like it wasn't anything special. Anyway, the magic was about to be revealed. Down the road towards Melbourne, I decided to pull over and get some lunch and charge my phone. Well - the iPhone5 cable I bought wasn't working and I asked the ladies behind the counter if I could try another outlet. Then one of them piped up and said - is that an iPhone5 cable, I have a spare one you can have if you want, and proceeded to go out to her car and give it to me! NO WAY! I just looked at the cord and could feel the universe saying - see, you should have just had faith and waited.
WOW! I was dumbfounded, I truly was! I asked and it delivered. I didn't have to 'take matters in my own hands' I just had to trust, have faith and it would come. And these manifestations have continued to happen especially while I have been on my path as long as I listen to Atman! It truly is an amazing place. So how did I get to Bali? Sometimes I still don't really know - I just stayed present to everyday's challenges and followed my Atman. Things just happened.
I realised that all I needed to be in Bali was to have my accommodation and food looked after and in return I could help someone. I am an amazingly all rounded little helper and thought this could work out. So contacted my amazing friend Nicole in Bali - and guess what, she had just been imagining that very same idea of someone helping her out! Talk about the universe just guiding and connecting us with the right people at the right time. Trust, have faith and let go. It just happens.
I had also been saying to someone, I just want to be in Bali living in a beautiful mansion (OK, so I got palace not mansion - but I can deal), surrounded by lush green, eating amazingly healthy food, meeting and connecting with like-minded souls so I can grow my business of helping others do exactly what I have done: Live their true passions! Let go and Be! It is one of the most amazing things you can do in life. I seriously wake up every morning excited about the day (6 months ago that would have seemed impossible).
I am so grateful to be living this dream life! And it all happened so quickly - less than 3 months. Now my challenge is to help others to the same. Write books to help, provide coaching for those that want it and speak around the world sharing this energy. That's my new message universe (you listening:-p... I know you are)... so watch this space for more magical things to happen.
Who knows what I could manifest next: it might not be a fish in the shower... but maybe it will be an elephant feeding me bananas while I create in my backyard!
You too can do amazing things, I know! I believe in you - now it's your turn to believe in you!
"Feel the fear and do it anyway!"
Hayley Weatherburn loves to inspire through entertaining stories. She shares her journey with the intention that it inspires others to follow their true path. To listen to their atman (inner voice) and live the life they were meant to. In her latest book "Is Your Fork in Tune?" she reveals the science behind your beliefs through connecting the paranormal, miracle healings, twin connections and the power of the mind. With this new paradigm she shows ways you can empower yourself to take charge of your reality.

How to Clear Your Money Blocks

In the search for a holistic lifestyle, sooner or later one faces the challenge of "right living", where work and wealth are in harmony with our physical, mental and spiritual aspirations. Wealth is so often seen as simply possessing money, perhaps splendid amounts of money. Yet across the spectrum of spiritual teachings, mentors and inspirational teachers, there is a common thread that wealth means so much more than just having the power attributed to money.
One of my beloved teachers told us that money is the expression of social justice. This suggests that money is an energy, which, like fire, can be used or misused. Surrounded by daily news full of examples of the misuse of money and power, how are we to navigate a balanced way to keep body and soul together on this Earth journey?
A common theme of spiritual teachings throughout history emphasizes two dynamics in self-realization. First, that prayer, meditation must also have a physical action to make it real. Secondly, that our personal actions are intimately connected with others. What goes around comes around, and that intention matters. Today's concern with the environment and social justice reflects the realization that a person is connected not only to our human brothers and sisters, but also with the natural world.
With these ideas in mind, why would it so often seem that prayers and affirmations seem ineffective? Inspirational authors and teachers emphasize that aspirations and affirmations need to be followed up by action in order to work. Wishes may ultimately take the form of hopes, dreams, daily affirmations, visualizations, meditations and prayers. Yet without taking action in the physical, these wishes may very well remain just wishes and hopes, and a disciplined course of daily affirmations may seem to fail to produce results. Well-intentioned aspirations hit the wall, a condition that is often called a money block. Something is in the way, blocking the way to success.
Actions may include activities such as journaling, volunteering, tithing in a way that benefits others, and giving thanks. A measure of this "attitude of gratitude" is sometimes called the GQ, or gratitude quotient - is the day's focus on being in the now, expressing gratitude for what is good in life, reconsidering our assumptions and attitudes, making needed adjustments and going forward, or is most of the days' energy devoted to cataloging disappointments? Mantak Chia, Taoist teacher and author of the book ""Taoist Ways to Transform Stress into Vitality - The Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds", offers a suggestion for transforming our life with a smile. He teaches workshops on "The Inner Smile", a self-help system for enhancing all aspects of life.
A valuable lesson can be learned from the comic strip character Pogo, who suggests that "we have met the enemy, and it is us". The first step is to meet the challenge of changing those strongly held attitudes and choices that result in failure. How this possible, when is so often that attitude are unconscious, operating below the radar of awareness, such that there is a death grip on the very attitudes and emotionally charged beliefs that sabotage the very best of intentions?
If change is needed in order to live in a way that is a benefit to others as well as the self, the journey will likely involve challenging and reconsidering ideas and subconscious attitudes that are simply not true. The good questions always generate a slew of new questions. One teacher asked us "what is the definition of happiness"?" We struggled with that one, beating around the bush as we realized that we really didn't have a clear idea of what this thing called "happiness" is. His suggestion was: "Happiness is the endless pursuit of a limitless dream." In meeting the challenge of clearing money blocks, the teachers, mentors and ideas described in the following paragraphs are worth considering. Doors miraculously open when we can change according to circumstances, and are willing to consider what teachers and mentors have to teach us
Of Faith, Hope and Charity
One often heard piece of advice is to do what we love, and the money will come. While it is true that what we love brings passion, a high level of interest and most likely a wealth of talent into the picture, it very likely is only part of the picture. Certainly faith and hope are important elements; without these we are truly poor in spirit. Charity expands the individual from the individual to the whole. When researching spiritual traditions, or listening to the most gifted modern authors and teachers, we find a strong them e suggesting that "what goes around, comes around". Another wonderful movement along those lines is "Pay it forward". In other words, instead of wealth, abundance and money reflecting a state of greed and seeking power over others, we are asked to consider the whole of community. Aldo Leopold, author of "Sand County Almanac", writes "All ethics so far evolved rest upon a single premise: that the individual is a member of a community of interdependent parts.
One of my earliest inspirations was the work of Dr. Wayne Dyer, a well-known author who often presents workshops on public television. His workshops and books teach how to make wishes come true, bring miracles into our life, and how our thoughts generate quality of life. It is soon apparent while reading deeply into his work that there is work to be done, and that our mental attitude, beliefs and relationship to other people and the world around us are dynamic factors in how we make choices, and especially in how our perspective on the world and what is on our mind will so often blind us to opportunities that are right in front of our noses.
Dr. Wayne Dyer's website:
A few of Dyer's books:
The Power of Intention
"Wishes Fulfilled; Mastering the Art of Manifesting
Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life
Dr. Steven R. Covey, is a well-known author who wrote the influential book "Seven Habits of Highly Successful People". This book about success does not direct the reader to envision a great pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Instead, his approach is practical and deeply instructive. His website contains a discussion of his book, and includes a discussion of Habit # 4: Think Win-Win - an idea that does not seem to be about money at all:
"Think Win-Win isn't about being nice, nor is it a quick-fix technique. It is a character-based code for human interaction and collaboration."
Music that stimulates the Alpha and Theta brain waves stimulate healing and creativity, and can be a powerful tool in helping to let go of long-held yet ineffective beliefs, and to create positive change in our life. The "Mozart Effect" is a term for research that has shown that music, especially baroque music, increases creativity and enhances learning. Biofeedback research has opened awareness of how the brain functions, and how that affects our state of being. Alpha and Theta brainwaves are associated with insight and creativity. A well-researched source is the system developed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, who has developed a series of CD's on his Theta Meditation System. He has created special audio environments to help slow down the mind's pace and guide the brain into brainwave patterns more conducive to calm and centered living. His Theta System CD's can be found at Amazon and on the Sounds True website.

4 Reasons Why Money Is So Hard to Get

Money. This is the number one thing I hear on a daily basis that people want more of. And I completely understand! I'm the same way, it always feels like you just can't have enough money. I had somebody recently ask me, "why is money so hard to get?" Well, it's simple and I will explain to you the 4 main reasons this is so.
1. You Are Trying Too Hard
Yep, that's right! Just because you are trying so hard to get money actually makes you repel money. The more that you want something in life, especially material things, you push that thing further and further away. This happens because you are coming from a place of "lack." Once you give up your need for money, you will see it come in easier than ever. By wanting it so bad, you just keep it from coming to you.
2. Your Lack Of Abundance
Once you learn how to be abundant this will instantly activate money in your favour. You have to realize that there is enough for everybody and you can have all you want. But, before you can be abundant with money, you must see the abundance all around you in other areas. If you are feel that money is scarce then it is more than likely that money will be scarce to you. Be abundant and allow money to come to you.
3. You Have Made Money Too Important
Stop making money so damn important. As a matter of fact, you won't be any happier in the long run once you have money. Unless you are happy with your life now, no matter the circumstances, you won't be any happier with money. Sure you will be happier for a couple of days, weeks, or months, but in the long run you will be just as miserable as before. Stop letting money be so important to you, just let it be.
4. You Don't Really Want Money
Ooooooh, this one is good! Every time I say this to somebody they look at me like I'm crazy. But, I bet you anything, if I took a survey of you, you would say something like, "I don't really want a lot of money, I just want enough." Hmmm, well clearly you don't want money then! Why are you telling me that you want money, but then you say you don't want money? It really makes no sense. Create that abundance and allow yourself to have an abundance of money, not just enough.
Stop denying your greatness and allow yourself to have all the money in the world because you deserve it!

Are You Pushing Prosperity Away?

Have you ever wondered about these "universal laws" or "universal principles" and what they mean... where did they come from, and more importantly, do they work?
We're going to talk about the Law of Increase and the Law of Decrease.
The thing about Increase and Decrease is, it has to be one or the other - Increase and Decrease can't exist at the same time. (Even I can see that it's mathematically impossible, and I never was much of a genius at maths!)
If you focus on decrease... on criticizing, condemning or judging yourself or others, or obsess about the things you don't have... you put limits on what you can achieve. And achieving a limited result can lead straight into feeling stuck.
The way the Law of Increase works, is that when you think and talk about things increasing, they actually do. Kindness, positive thoughts of expansion and victory, belief in yourself and others - focus on things in this category, and your world and options and happiness will grow.
And, if you haven't guessed this part already, you just might get UNstuck!
The human spirit is resilient, so even if you're not feeling like things are increasing at this point, you can still use the Law of Increase at any time. So why not now? It's incredibly easy and rewarding to establish and maintain an attitude of increase toward everything and everybody.
Let this be your main thought: "I'm thinking of myself and others as rich, successful, prosperous and victorious," and you help make it so.
All over the world, people are hungry for increase; they want to see more of the good in everything. And rightly so, for it is a divine desire! Whereas, when people criticize, condemn and belittle others, in a strange but powerful way, they are asking for the same things to happen to them.
The moral? What you send out into the world comes back to you - multiplied.
When you use the Law of Decrease rather than the Law of Increase, you are delaying your own prosperity. And why would you want to do that? Apply the Law of Increase to everything you do and everyone you meet, and the only thing that will decrease will be your stuckness.
Which I'm pretty sure you won't mind.
Your Turn
The people to whom I would most like to send positive thoughts of expansion are:
