How to Use the Law of Attraction: My Miraculous Lesson to Trust the Universe

I've always believed in God, but it wasn't until I was forced to trust the Universe when I found true faith and meaning in my life, which has inspired me to learn more about how to use the Law of Attraction...
The reason why I say that I had to be "forced" to trust the Universe is that I'm the kind of person who always has to have everything under control...
Everything planned out till the n'th degree, and if it's not on the calendar, let's not do it because it's probably not safe.
My husband is a disabled musician, and I've worked two jobs most of my life holding the household expenses together. The motto, "I won't pay for anything that I know how to do myself" really came back to bite me this time.
As I was working one of my after-hours jobs housekeeping and with only a half hour yet to go, I received a call from my husband...
... "Your house is on fire!" he cried into the phone...
I couldn't believe my own ears and well, actually, I didn't believe him. "Oh, whatever it is, it can't be that bad - I only have 30 minute left here and I'll be on my way home to take care of it", I answered.
The woman I was working for at the time (who's a real saint and a good friend to this day), said "Honey, you can't stay here your husband says your house is on fire, you MUST go home and take care of it NOW!"
She called me when I was half way home expressed her deep concern, and I said,
"I'm worried that I might not have insurance"
- I remember taking something off of the policy to keep the premium down... could it have been the fire insurance? Yikes!"
"Oh you must be covered for fire - after all they stopped covering for hurricanes and floods, what else is there?"
My "got it under control" attitude turned to shock when I came around the corner and saw my house in flames and heard the screams of the fire trucks... If there was any time to trust the Universe, it was now...
"Holy crap, he wasn't kidding!" Yet my mind still tended to minimize the magnitude of what was happening around me. My dog would not stop barking and, in her state of fear, tried to lunge and attack anyone who was approaching me. My husband stood with his blank white face in tears and in a state of shock.
All of my husband's sound equipment and clothes had been destroyed...
But I thanked God that we were all safe... Joel and the dog were out walking when the fire broke out, and I was able to retrieve our cat. But I was still thinking about the room in the back of the house where I figured we could all "camp out" (him, me, and the dog and cat) for the "short time" it would take to restore the front of the house.
Imagine my surprise when the fireman told me that we could not go back inside.. for a least a month, as all of the utilities had been turned off and the house needed to be fully restored. (It actually wound up taking three months!) Still in a state of shock...
I scrambled through my credit cards looking for one that might have enough credit on it to spend one night in a dog-friendly hotel. A neighbor I had never met knocked on door to see if there was anything she could do - but I was too proud to ask for help -
I just thanked her and told her we'd be leaving soon to find a hotel. I figured the cat would feel more comfortable just staying at the house for the night (still in a state of shock).
So forced to just "Trust the Universe", we drove on to find this cheap hotel that accepted dogs...
And the Law of Attraction began the miraculous chain of events...
With no insurance records at my fingertips, I called the insurance company who was extremely compassionate and helpful. "Of course you have fire insurance, up to $100,000 of contents plus structural damage"... what a relief!
An old friend from work called and asked if he could offer us anything...
Still too proud, I said thanks, but I couldn't think of anything. Then my brother-in-law phoned to say he wanted to send us some money to help us along. This time I graciously accepted and assured him it would only be a loan.
With ashes on my face, I showed up at work the following day...
And my colleagues said, "Why are you here?" Then one of my colleagues gave me a name of an awesome and affordable hotel on the beach where they accept pets - both the dog and cat!
We were able to get a cat carrier loan from my neighbor when we went back to pick up our black and white (now grey and white) cat - picked up some of my clothes from the back room and took off for the beach hotel.
As I remained thankful that all that had been given to us, without realizing it, I was learning how to use the Law of Attraction...
As it turns out - when you feel good, you attract good!
It was only a week before my birthday when I walked out on the beach deck of the hotel we were staying, "oh, what a magnificent birthday present God has given me!"
And that feeling of gratitude emanated throughout my soul as was learning to trust the Universe...
Without even realizing at the time that there was such a thing as the Law of Attraction, I remained thankful for the insurance checks coming our way and the new things we were now able to buy for the house.
I was in complete awe when a kitchen designer called me at work to ask my preference of design for the kitchen cabinets -
... and I didn't even think they were damaged in the fire (although they WERE in desperate need of being replaced before the fire.)
And when I learned that our air conditioning system would be replaced with what was the "minimum standard" but a HUGE upgrade for us, well, you can imagine my excitement.
This time I was truly learning how to trust in God, with the realization that we are always taken care of when we look for the good in our situation.
There was only one part of our house that was not covered by insurance - the back patio...
And it was a total wreck (always was, but now more than ever) - with the roof starting to cave in. One good hurricane probably would have carried it away. But where could I get the money to fix a roof that insurance wasn't paying for?
And, even more unsettling, what if that caused our house to "fail inspection" and we were not allowed back in until we paid for a new patio?
This odd "coincidence" is what really taught me to trust the Universe...
We had decided to take our dog for a walk at a nearby park, one that we'd never been to before.
Then, out of the blue, we hear a voice, "Hey, you!"..
Wondering what we might have done wrong, we turned around, "you've lost so much weight" he said to my husband. Then we realized it was an old friend and college that we both used to work with! And, he just happened to be looking for construction work and had all the necessary tools to repair our patio!
Cash was not a problem now...
Because by now, both our church and my office had both taken up collections to donate money to our cause!
I later learned that there is no such thing as a coincidence...
It was merely the synchronicity working in my life that attracted these things to me as I needed them.
This miraculous lesson in the Law of Attraction has inspired me to dive into more material of how to use the Law of Attraction. And, of course, I've also learned that, when we trust the Universe, our needs do tend to be miraculously met. When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. Really!
As for my life today, I no longer need to work two jobs with housekeeping because I've been lead through the Law of Attraction to a method of making money online that helps supplement our income.
